Dr. Samantha WIlliams

Dr. Williams is a Naturopathic Physician and a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist. She holds a Bachelor’s of Science, in Nutritional Science, from Howard University and a Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine degree from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine.

 

During her clinical training in Naturopathic Medicine, she treated a wide variety of medical conditions, worked with HIV/AIDS patients, and Canada’s Indigenous populations. Wanting to further expand her knowledge of nutrition, she subsequently went onto complete a 2 year clinical dietetic internship, at Howard University, completing rotations at the Veteran’s Affairs Medical Center and Holy Cross Hospital.

 

Dr. Williams is truly passionate about integrative medicine, clinical nutrition, and patient centered care. She will work to address the fundamental causes of disease and use the tenants of naturopathic medicine and nutrition to improve one’s health.

 

Areas of Focus: The management of obesity, diabetes, hypertension, stress/anxiety/depression, food sensitives/allergies, gastrointestinal disorders, endocrine disorders, hormone imbalances, sleep disturbances, and autoimmune disorders.
