My Philosophy

I believe that healing happens at the intersection of science, humanity, and curiosity. My approach to psychiatry is collaborative and person-centered grounded in evidence-based medicine while honoring each patient’s lived experience, culture, and values. I view mental health as dynamic and multifaceted, influenced by biology, psychology, relationships, and environment, and I work with patients to uncover the roots of their suffering rather than only treating symptoms. I am particularly drawn to therapies that expand our understanding of consciousness, including psychedelic-assisted modalities, and I strive to create a compassionate space where patients feel seen, understood, and empowered in their recovery.
